During my years of tutoring, I noticed a pattern: many students grasp maths concepts during lessons but feel stuck when they try to practise on their own during the week. They often leave questions blank, lose confidence, or wait until their next session to ask for help, which slows their progress and creates unnecessary stress.
After listening to feedback from parents and students across Australia, I realised that what students truly need isn’t just another worksheet or an app that give out answers. They need a patient guide that can gently nudge them in the right direction, step by step, exactly when they need it most.
That’s how GenieBuddy came to life—a friendly, AI-powered maths companion designed to support students between lessons. GenieBuddy offers hints, breaks down problems, and helps students build problem-solving skills, all aligned with the Australian curriculum. It encourages students to think critically while feeling supported, helping them develop habits of independent learning and resilience.
