General

At GeniusHub Learning, we’re proudly Australian-owned and operated — not backed by overseas investors or driven by business profits. We’ve earned the trust of families through hands-on experience, working closely with students across the country every single day. Unlike one-size-fits-all programs or rigid pricing models, we tailor each lesson to your child’s unique learning style, academic level, and school curriculum. We focus on more than just boosting grades — we’re here to build confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine love for learning.

GeniusHub Learning wasn’t created by corporate executives or recent grads with no classroom experience. It was built from the ground up by dedicated educators who spent years tutoring independently, forming deep relationships with local families, and responding to real student needs. Our business was born from that trust — shaped by the community, for the community.

Yes — our tutoring is closely aligned with the Australian curriculum (ACARA) so your child can immediately apply what they learn with us to their schoolwork. This approach helps reduce confusion and promotes steady, consistent progress. Please note: curriculum alignment is best achieved in 1:1 sessions and may be more generalised in group classes.

We specialise in Maths tutoring for students in Years 2–12, aligned with the Australian Curriculum, and soon be including English in our curriculum.

Your child’s first session will be led by our founder, Kiran Chaudhary, who takes the time to understand their learning needs and develop a personalised plan. Based on this, we’ll assign a tutor who is the best fit. All GeniusHub tutors are carefully selected through a rigorous hiring process and hold valid Working With Children checks.

We start by getting to know your child — through a conversation and a short assessment — to understand their strengths, challenges, and goals. From there, we design a customised learning plan that fills gaps, builds on strengths, and progresses at a pace that suits them.

Many parents notice not just improved grades, but also a boost in their child’s confidence, problem-solving ability, and overall attitude towards maths. Our goal is to help students feel capable, supported, and motivated to learn.

Most families choose weekly sessions to maintain consistency. However, we’re flexible — we can increase the frequency or adjust the schedule based on your child’s needs, upcoming exams, or learning goals.

We start with a quick 15-minute phone call with parents to understand your child’s needs, goals, and learning style. After that, your child is invited to a free 30-minute trial session with one of our tutors, so you can see how we teach and ensure it’s the right fit.

GeniueBuddy

GenieBuddy is an AI-powered maths companion designed to support your child outside tutoring hours. It provides step-by-step guidance when they get stuck, encouraging critical thinking instead of simply giving answers. Think of it as a smart study buddy that’s always there when they need help with maths.

Absolutely. GenieBuddy is built to follow the Australian Curriculum — ACARA — so your child gets support that’s relevant, accurate, and in line with what they’re learning in class.

Anytime! GenieBuddy is available 24/7. Whether it’s late-night homework or a weekend question before tutoring, your child can get help whenever they need it — learning doesn’t have to wait.

No. GenieBuddy is all about learning — not shortcuts. It guides your child through the problem-solving process step by step, helping them understand and build confidence. It doesn’t give direct answers and is strictly limited to maths-related help. GenieBuddy is a private learning tool, not a general-purpose chatbot.

Yes, it’s built with student safety in mind. GenieBuddy runs in a secure, distraction-free environment. All conversations are logged so tutors can track your child’s progress and personalise future lessons. Your child’s privacy and learning journey are both carefully protected.

Tutoring once a week is powerful — but what about the days in between? GenieBuddy steps in when your child needs a little extra help during the week. It keeps the learning momentum going and allows tutors to adjust upcoming lessons based on the questions your child asked.

GenieBuddy is only available to students enrolled at GeniusHub Learning. Access is granted after we receive parent/guardian consent and is included as part of our student support system.

GenieBuddy is included at no extra cost for enrolled students and is activated from the third week of tutoring. However, some premium features — like advanced topic walkthroughs, past paper solving, or detailed analytics — may be available as part of an optional add-on subscription. This way, we can keep the core learning experience accessible while giving families the choice to unlock more when needed.

Pricing

We get it—every family has different needs, and every child is on a unique learning journey. Unlike many tutoring centres that stick to rigid pricing, we aim to work with you wherever possible. Our tutoring plans typically range from $30 to $80 per hour. The exact cost depends on factors like your child’s current year level, whether they’re preparing for a specialised exam, and if you choose 1:1 or small group tutoring.

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so we strongly recommend booking a free consultation with us. We’ll chat about your child’s needs and goals, and then suggest a plan that fits both your budget and your child’s learning needs.

Yes, we offer:
• Sibling discount: 10% off when enrolling siblings in group tutoring.
• Prepay bonus: Pay for 10 sessions upfront and get 1 session free.

You can choose to pay per session advance or prepay for a block of sessions for added savings and priority booking.
